Children's Minister
Terri became our Children’s Minister in March 2020. Her passion is Psalm 78:4, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders he has done.” She is thankful for the great team of directors and volunteers who invest in Flint Kids every week.
Debbie Harkness
Nursery Director
Debbie is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with every child. The nursery is such a special place for her because these formative years are when little boys and girls are introduced to Jesus for the very first time. She is married to T.J. Harkness and has 3 children.
Paula Holloway
1st-3rd Grade Director
Paula joined Flint Baptist Church in 1998. She worked as a volunteer Children's Director for 10 years. Today, she serves on staff as the Kids4Christ (K4C) Director of 1st-3rd Grades. Her passion is to see young children come to Jesus and learn to depend on him.
Amy Deshotel
4th-6th Grade Director
Amy has worked as a Speech Pathologist for 20+ years with elementary and middle school students. When the opportunity came to lead the 456 department at our church, it was very clear to Amy it was what God wanted her to do. She loves students of this age because they display a hunger for God's Word.

Flint Kids Sundays partners with parents to:
- Develop children as Christ-followers and teach them to share their faith
- Develop children as worshippers
- Develop children as prayer warriors
- Teach children to make wise choices according to Scripture
- Support families with fun, creative ways to enhance each child's spiritual journey
- Help parents lead their child to Christ
The Children's Ministry offers relevant Bible studies, as well as many other fun and educational activities and programs.
