Flint Baptist Church Supports National Missions

National missions consist of serving the Lord all over the United States of America! This year it may be in the state of Texas, through a Disaster Relief deployment, and next year it may be leaving for Colorado to help run an Adventure Camp!!

“Obey the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Remember the great things he has done for you.”  1 Samuel 12:24 NIV

SBC Disaster Relief

The Disaster Relief Ministry of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention is comprised of three primary areas: Disaster Relief Preparation, Disaster Relief Training, and Disaster Relief Response.

Our purpose is to prepare, equip, train, and mobilize churches and volunteers to fulfill the Great Commission by meeting real needs and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with those whose lives have been or will be affected by disasters.

Angel Chefs

The Angel Chefs are a ministry headed by church members, and we have activities and events here in Tyler as well as all over the state of Texas. Our primary mission is to feed and encourage Veterans of war in Veterans’ homes. Especially those veterans who need a good meal. Help is regularly necessary to cook for the Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio and local events at the Tyler Veteran’s home. To volunteer, call Elaine at 903-283-1082.

Summit Church

Summit Church is a mission church in Pascoe, Washington! Flint Baptist Chruch has been supporting this outreach for several years, and we continue to watch what God is doing in the life of these believers!

Green Family

Josh and Amy Green serve in Severance, Colorado. They are missionaries with the North American Mission Board. They have planted a church in a neighborhood outside Ft. Collins, CO, in an elementary school! We support them through regular giving, as well as through trips and unique gifts. Prayer is also essential support!

Crutsinger Family - CRU Digital Missions

At Cru, we have been using digital tools for advancing the Great Commission. As the world undergoes a major digital culture shift, where more and more people spend their lives online, so does the idea of a missionary need to shift.

If the goal of missions is to meet people where they are, then missionaries should be going to the digital world.

Digital allows access to places and people that have never been reachable before, and we want you to be a part of reaching people with the gospel.
